ABHIYAN is the culmination of hard work, dedication and sincerity of a group of enthusiastic persons who decided to do social good for women and children in the state.
The organization is motivated to address some of the societal issues facing the targeted group.
Our efforts started in a disorganized manner, however, after witnessing the outcome of our work, it was felt that people should be served through a systematic structure; thereby resulting in registration of our society ‘Abhiyan’.

JHULAGHAR AND STAY-HOME (MUKTAKASH) - 1997
"We started with a day care home for children of inmates and later expanded it into a stay home for children above five years."

SILK REELING - 1999
"We trained over 3,000 women in Kosa silk production and value-added skills like dyeing, printing, and designing."

WATER CONSERVATION PROGRAMME IN GODHI, BILHA BLOCK - 2001
Desilting and deepening of Pond. Connected the pond with ‘Paithu’

Assisted the department in creating awareness and carrying out vaccination of cattle in Godhi Village
